Back in the day I worked for a company that had potlucks all the time. I was constantly searching for new dishes to bring that were easy to make. I wish I had this recipe back then. These Honey Mustard Chicken Crescents are super easy to make and taste delicious.

Crescent Rolls – Yes, these are the store bought, canned Crescent Rolls from the grocery store. But, if you’ve never used them before, they have a surprisingly nice flavor and turn out nice and fluffy.
Shredded Chicken – You can use any shredded chicken you have on hand. We like to use our Shredded Crock-Pot Chicken or leftover rotisserie chicken.
Cheese – Mozzarella is a great cheese for these Crescents. It melts well and complements the honey mustard chicken.
Honey Mustard – Normally, I would make these with the Honey Mustard dressing I have on hand. However, this last time I didn’t have any. Mike to the rescue. He came up with a great homemade Honey Mustard for us that I will share below.

Ingredients for Honey Mustard Chicken Crescents
Honey Mustard (Optional)
- 6 tbs Mayo
- 1 tbs Yellow Mustard
- 2 tbs Dijon Mustard
- 2 tbs Honey
- 1/4 tsp Granulated Onion
- 1/4 tsp Granulated Garlic
Honey Mustard Chicken Crescents
- 2 tubes Crescent Rolls
- 2 cups Shredded Chicken
- 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/4 cup Honey Mustard
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbs Water
Directions
Preheat oven and prep baking sheet: Preheat oven to 375° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix together Honey Mustard (optional): Mix together all Honey Mustard ingredients in a small bowl.
Flavor and season chicken: In a medium mixing bowl, combine Shredded Chicken, Mozzarella, Honey Mustard, and Black Pepper.
Roll chicken in crescent dough and transfer to baking sheet: Remove crescent dough from packaging and separate crescent triangles. Spoon 1 tablespoon of chicken on the wide end of the dough and roll from the wide end to the pointed end. Curve ends in slightly to form a crescent shape and transfer to baking sheet.
Egg wash tops of crescents and bake: Whisk together the Egg and Water in a small bowl and brush on tops of crescents. Bake crescents for 12 minutes. Server with a side of Honey Mustard for dipping and enjoy.
