Our Peanut Butter and Strawberry Toast
Today was a day that Mike and I like to refer to as a test kitchen day. It’s a day where we try out new recipes and ideas we have and force our family taste them and grade them 1-5 stars. Today centered around toast. Our thoughts were we have avocado toast, why can’t we have new and different toast toppings? With this in mind, we came up with a bunch of different toast topping ideas.
We had so many topping ideas we had to narrow down what we wanted to focus on today. It turned out to be a day with a lot of sweet, dessert like flavors. Once all was said and done, there was one recipe that scored five stars from all involved and we just couldn’t wait to share.
Please allow us to introduce you to our Peanut Butter and Strawberry toast. Our Peanut Butter and Strawberry toast is topped with a marshmallow and cream cheese drizzle that is amazing and makes this toast perfect for breakfast or a midnight snack.

Break away from traditional butter and jam on your toast. In this weeks Test Kitchen – Toast, Sweet Toppings we found our new fav toppings.
Ingredients, Substitutions, and Additions
Bread: We used sourdough bread because it’s what we had on hand, however, this combination would be perfect on anything.
Drizzle: This drizzle is made of equal parts marshmallow fluff and cream cheese. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and tangy, however, could be adjusted according to your taste preference by adding more or less fluff.
Peanut Butter – In this recipe we used Peanut Butter with no salt for a little healthier option. Plus it’s just what we had on hand. However, normally we aren’t too picky about our peanut butter. Using Jif or Skippy would be just as good if not better because it would add a little more sweetness to the flavors.
