Our Salami Snack Wraps

Do you ever have the munchies but don’t have the energy to make anything? Well I do and I always want something tasty yet ridiculously easy. Please let me introduce you to our Salami Snack Wraps. Now these have evolved over the years into three different snack wraps. So, we are going to share all three since they all deserve their shot in the spotlight.

So which of our Salami Snack Wraps should you indulge in?

Well it all depends on how naughty you want to be.

The OG Salami Snack Wrap – The first Salami Snack Wrap included a toasted tortilla, cream cheese, and salami.

Salami Cheese Skirt Snack Wrap – One day we ran out of cream cheese, so I substituted some Italian Cheese Blend that we had shoved in the back of our refrigerator. This gave the Salami Snack Wraps a twist as it formed a kind of cheese skirt around the tortilla which was delicious.

Cheddar Cheesy Salami Snack Wrap – Later, one day when I was not feeling particularly wonderful, I had a craving and asked Mike to make me one. Not having ever made one himself before, Mike added sliced cheese and this time fried the salami up a bit which gave the wrap a whole new flavor.

Ingredients, Substitutions, and Additions

Tortillas – You can use any kind of tortilla for this recipe. We originally made these with just regular flour tortillas. Then when I made the wrap with Italian Cheese Blend I used a Spinach Tortilla Wrap for the first time. It was very tasty.

Cream Cheese – One day we bought the Whipped Cream Cheese on a whim. Now it’s our favorite kind to use for things like our wraps, bagels, or sandwiches.

Shredded Cheese – When making these with shredded cheese, I really like the way the Italian Cheese Blend tastes. But we also use a Mild Cheddar as well.

Salami – For us, nothing beats Gallo Italian Dry Salami.
