Copycat Breakfast Jack

Our Copycat Breakfast Jack

Growing up, one of my absolute favorite things for breakfast was a breakfast jack. When I was old enough to drive, my dad’s famous line was, “I buy. You fly.” That’s all it took and I was in the car driving down the road to grab the fam breakfast jacks.

Now that we live an hour away from my favorite fast food breakfast, I’ve talked Mike into making these for us at home and boy I wasn’t disappointed!

It’s surprising how easy these are to make. The hardest part is cooking the egg, however, since the yolk is cooked all the way through you don’t have to stress about over cooking. I wish we had thought to make these sooner!

Ingredients, Substitutions, and Additions

Cheese: This sandwich is traditionally made with American cheese, however, if you want to make it fancy sliced cheddar cheese works well.

Protein: Be aware, different types of ham will change the flavor of your sandwich. When choosing ours, we went for the classic cooked ham found in our lunchmeat section of the grocery store.

Cooking Tip: Have a griddle? A griddle is the perfect way to make these sandwiches for the whole family in just a few minutes.
