Our Pineapple Brown Sugar Glazed Dinner Ham
I’m a big fan of ham. When Mike agreed to make me a ham for dinner he asked, “How would you like me to cook it for you?”. Well shoot, I had no idea. I just know I like ham. Mike is the flavor guy. After he tossed out some killer ideas, he said how about something with pineapple. Immediately my ears perked up. My all-time favorite pizza is a Hawaiian, I love the mix of sweet tasting pineapple and smokiness from the ham. The idea of flavoring the ham with pineapple had my stomach growling. It was then that Mike came up with this awesome Pineapple Brown Sugar Glazed Dinner Ham.

Ham – Mike and I love the versatility of ham. We love it on pizza, sandwiches, omelets, and by itself. For our dinner ham we decided to go easy and use a fully cooked dinner ham. They are super easy to work with, just heat and serve.
Tip: A fully cooked dinner ham takes about 30 minutes per pound to cook at a temperature of 325°. Make sure to dome with aluminum foil while cooking to help prevent burning.
Pineapple – We love our dinner ham with a glaze. Pineapple is perfect for a glaze. It is sweet and goes great with ham. We use crushed pineapple in our Pineapple Brown Sugar Glazed Dinner Ham because it adheres perfectly to the ham.
Brown Sugar and Butter – Brown sugar and butter are perfect for making any glaze. It gives a little nutty and toasty flavor to your glaze.
